Question:
I’m looking for a good web-based golf handicap service. I’ve found a few, but before I commit, I’d like some opinions on others that are out there that I haven’t found. Thanks. RD

I started using nethandicap. It’s okay. I’d like to see a few more stat fields, but it has a good interface. Golfserv is very good. Computes handicap using USGA rules. Also has good tips and course info sections.

Try Public Golf Handicap (www.publicgolfhandicap.com) They have been around since 1996 and offer not only a handicap, but full stats on your game. They employ a PGA teaching pro to answer member questions, so it is like having a private golf tutor. Tim Howard www.PublicGolfHandicap.com The alternative to the USGA

Yahoo offers a free online handicap service. A nice way to track your scores over time, even though this will not function as an "official" handicap. http://golf.sports.yahoo.com/tracker Bill in Clearwater
