Question:
I use a set of these irons, but with steel shafts (which cost less). I bought these as a set with 3 woods when I took up golf about a year ago after a long layoff (25 yrs!). I fairly quickly threw out the woods (anyone like to buy a set of steel shafted Arnie’s own woods 1,3,5,7 cheap?) but I am still using the irons (I am shooting in the low to mid 80’s) My only comparison, is my old Slazenger Bobby Locke blade set of irons which I have had since I was a kid – The Arnies’ Own are a lot easier to hit! I have tried hitting friends Titleist DCI’s or whatever they are and did not see any noticeable difference. However, if I were in your position, I would spend a bit more and get a good set of Ping, Titleist or Taylor or similar quality or good quality knock off’s with good steel shafts. Good Luck Graham

Response:
Club has a thick line similar to the early Bertha irons. $240 is a little high. I remember seeing them at one of the company’s outlet info. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I need to replace my department store golf clubs.
