I assume that some of you have played golf on your PCs. What do you consider to be the best game out there? I’ve seen PGA Golf before and it seemed pretty good. What about Links or Microsoft Golf? Others? Thanks, John Breeden
I’ve been using LinksPro on a macintosh for two years. I now have 3-D fly-overs. Cool. It sure makes winter in the north-country more barable. -40 tonight so I think I’ll play one of the Hawaian courses. Did I mention I have about 7 or 8 different course add-ons Still have Tim’s mostly mac page <http://www.northnet.org/donahue Mickey Mouse: "Arithmetic is being able to count up to twenty without taking off your shoes."
I have tried most of the computer golf games. Links LS is the best by far. jc
I will be attending the PGA Show in Orlando Jan 24th-27. I would like to play at either Lake Nona, Bay Hill, or Grand Cypress. I could offer in exchange a round at Muirfield, Columbus, OH site of the Memorial tournament or a couple of passes to the Muirfield tournament first week in June. Let me know…See you at the show… Wherever you go, there you are ;.}

I just read a small newsbrief in Golf Today, a California golf news monthly. Here is the text of the article: "Titanium isn’t the only new metal to hit, meteor-like, the golf industry in the past year. Keep your eyes on the boron carbide metal matrix known as Boralyn

I just read a small newsbrief in Golf Today, a California golf news monthly. Here is the text of the article: "Titanium isn’t the only new metal to hit, meteor-like, the golf industry in the past year. Keep your eyes on the boron carbide metal matrix known as Boralyn (accent on the second syllable) not just for golf but for all sports. All this is made possible because the Defense Department had [sic] declassified Boralyn, called a ‘miracle material’. Boralyn is the hardest man-made substance on earth and is much less expensive than Titanium. It’s stiffer and lighter than aluminum, harder than steel, fracture resistant, and much more predictable than carbon fiber or ceramic composites. The raw materials (aluminum, carbon, ceramic and boron, which make up Boralyn are plentiful and cost efficient, as well…. At the PGA Golf Show in Orlando, Links introduced the first clubs made of Boralyn." Sounds like the new fad to keep the profits at the golf companies going strong.
