I HAVE PACKED THE 1-V AND PLENTY OF FILM.

Question:

On the other hand, Annika posts probably alternate between any of the dozen or so people who were involved in the rec.sport.golf tournament and dinner. There are just too many writing styles there. Several people in rec.sport.golf have mentioned that they all cooperate together to maintain the secrecy of the Annika identity, gender, etc. Bet whoever won the tournament got to claim to be Annika for the million dollar check and the picture.

Interesting theory.  I wish we’d thought of that!

Response:

If one breaks (and even the EOS1v can break), you can complete the contract you signed.  This not only brings in your payment for the job, it also guarantees you that your client won’t destroy whatever reputation you have. Mike

Skip Why not?  Are you that unsure of what shooting situations you will face? The only advantages I can see to using mulitple bodies are: 1. You can load different film tpes/speeds in each. 2.  You can mount different lenses on each. These are not really advantages, but are really matters of convenience. Weigh them against the invoncenience of carrying two bodies overseas, and where’s your advantage? Besides, if you have the best body you can buy, why do you need another?

No body is immune to failure.  A pro can’t take such a chance.

Response:

I don’t know any real pros who will only bring one camera body. I know a lot of pros over 30 years and NONE will do a job with only a single camera.

The guy is such a LOSER!!!   Last time he bragged about having two EOS1vs at a baseball game, one with a PB-E2 and one without.  No pro I know would shoot a sporting event without a booster.  On top of that, if the camera with the booster goes on the fritz, it would take several minutes to attach it to the other body.  A real pros carries matched bodies. No one with any talent would go to such lengths to demonstrate their stupidity.

Response:

But I think Snorre is a real person, he posts to the EOS mailing list a lot.  Unless the other two are manifestations of his personality, a thought I find more disturbing than I ought! Skip

It’s your worse nightmare come true.  Annika, EOS1vfan and Snorre are all real people.  Snorre is from Scandinavia, Annika claims to be from Tennessee and EOS1vfan is from Florida.

Annika and EOS fan are both "Atlanta Sports Literate" however, leading some to think they are the same person.
