Question:
Hey. I’m doing a demonstration speech on the "new golf swing". I don’t know how known it is, but it’s new. I guess the main point of this "new swing" is that putting more weight on one side doesn’t affect your swing hardly at all. So this new swing concentrates on the arms, or specifically, the wrist. That’s where all the power is.
The last time I looked, the wrist is almost all cartilage and gristle. With almost no muscle in this area, how do you expect to produce any power? F. Blaine Dickson, B.A. CPGA ELITE Golf Professional Kelowna BC Canada "Do or do not. There is no try." – Yoda

Hey. I’m doing a demonstration speech on the "new golf swing".
Hello, Larry: I’d like to learn a lot more about the new swing you describe. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot. -Anthony-

hehe. I’m sure that you’re probably thinking, "A new golf swing? What’s new?" or "This doesn’t make any sense to me." Well, I dunno. I probably explained it wrong like ALWAYS!! ahhh!! To answer your question: PROBABLY CAUSE MY QUESTION DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE! hehe I’m sure that not everyone knows about this "new swing". to tell you the truth, I don’t even know if it is true. My dad was the one who introduced me to this swing, being that he was golfing and someone was using it. Well, it is an easier swing, not as complicated as the one I used to use. Of course, i don’t know how many different swings that there are out there. As far as I know, the one I "used" to use was the only and the most popular one. And don’t worry, I DON’T plan on going into detail on how I swing:) I’d be here for days trying to type it all down in words to make sure you understand it. hehe. Well, see ya! Pat:) Hey. Anyway, if anyone knows of the swing I’m talking about, I have a question–Who invented this new swing and when did was it "invented", and any other important info such as this relating to the "new swing". I would like to add some background info on the swing when I do my demonstration speech in my English class. By the way, I present on March 5, 1997, a Wednesday. Thanx a lot! Much Appreciated! Pat;)

I don’t know why. Could it be that it is contrary to what you believe is the only right way to execute a golf swing? (Sorry David, couldn’t resist) ;-) More to the point, and the original request for information; no Larry I don’t know who invented it or when, but you might want to visit: http://www.execpc.com/~key2golf/ where you can learn a lot about such a swing, probably plenty of material for your speech also. BTW, I don’t think it’s such a new approach, if you watch much weekend golf, you can see the technique in many of the pro’s swings. …a thing of beauty is a joy forever.
