Question:
I have the same problem — I am going to apply the silicone that comes in liquid form (i.e., in the bottle) — the trick is to apply it to where the sole meets the leather part of the shoe. Try to remove as much sand, dirt, etc., before you do it. Good Luck! Chris
Response:
I was wondering if any of you folks out there could provide some needed advice on waterproofing treatments for golf shoes. I own a 3-year old pair of DryJoys. They performed well the first 2 seasons, but I was thinking I should apply some waterproofing material to them before the start of the upcoming season. Also considering applying whitener to them as well. Not sure whether to use mink oil, silicone or whatever. Any suggestions?? Pleae respond directly to me rather then the list if possible. Thanks.
