Question:

There is a South Bay Golf set with frequency matched graphite shafts and offset head placement on sale for $99.  Is this a good starter set, or do you get what you pay for? Thanks

A friend of mine plays with them, and they have been an excellent starter set. Jeff

Well do you know yet if you really like the game?  If this is truly a starter set and the person using them is not sure if they like the game, by all means $99 is not that big of a risk and if they like the game then they can move into better equipement.  If they don’t like it you wont feel so bad about giving the clubs to someone else to try the game. Actually, this would be for my dad.  I know his into it, but he doesn’t want to spend top dollar on a set, esp. since he won’t be playing that often.
