Question:
It is a logistics and expectations thing. You start out in a short sleeve shirt in 65* or 70* temperatures. After 4:30, as the sun goes down, the temperature can drop rapidly so you need to bring a sweater or a jacket.
– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Should be OK as the sun sets at 6:00 at the end of January. The problems are a) getting on a course and b) it can get chilly late in the afternoon. But your ‘chilly’ looks like a ‘warmer than normal’ to me. What are you talking about, down to mid 50’s on a typical afternoon? If so, I’d take that ‘chilly’ over what I’m getting anytime till March. Chilly Regards message I’m going to visit in Orlando at end of January (week 4). Some golf courses offers twilight rate starting from 1 pm. Is it possible to finnish full round, if I get tee-time between 1.00 – 2.00 pm? Best regards Toni Lahtinen Finland, Europe

Right now it is getting dark a little after 5:30. I get twilight rates at most courses here after 12:30. With each passing day, of course, the days get longer. Until June 21st, after which time they get shorter. Govern yourself accordingly. Contrary to a previous post, getting tee times is not a problem in Orlando… Fred
