I spent today griping about the rain…. rain…and more rain.  Actually, I’m in my friend’s driveway and spent the day catching up on things like laundry. Git the dogs out for some frisbee in the rain.   Tonight after a nice dinner we watched Catch Me If You Can…. with Leo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks….. terrific film! Heading up to New Hampshire then vermont in a few days. Hunter

Don: Thanks!  Mike Jr. is back home now in NC and is still on convalescent leave. His wound has healed nicely but he still doesn’t have much movement in his right hand and still has no feeling in his pinkie and ring finger on his right hand.  The Navy docs think he will have to have one more (he has already had four!) surgery. We are quite pleased to have him back in the US and out of harms way.  He was recommended for the Bronze Star for his action in Iraq.  His Mom and Dad think he deserves it :^) but we are waiting to see what the USMC thinks. Thanks again for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. Mike Sr.

Good Morning All! Momma and I will be heading to NC in September to visit the kids who live in Wilmington.  We are looking at staying at Surf City Family CG on North Topsail Island.
