RSG-ATLANTA UPDATE (Lodging, venue, format)

This is to give a group of players with a fairly wide range of skill levels something of a more even playing field. If you want, you can move up and play the reds, Teresa. On Sunday at Windermere, the guys will move back and play the blues (it’s a better golf course from back there). And if you want, you can move up and play the whites there, or, if you want, the reds. Sunday’s a social round, so no one will care. We’re committed. In fact, we were just let out from Mid South Medical so we could be committed to this function. We’re due back the 16th of July. -T-

We’ll play Saturday at Mystery Valley and Sunday at Windermere. The format for the event is now modified — we’ll play a practice round Saturday morning, then the "tournament" round Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning’s round at Windermere will be a social get together for those wishing to stay and play an incredible golf course. I must have firm commitments from everyone no later than June 25th. So if you’re on the fence, let me know now. Windermere requires that their tee times be guaranteed, so I’ll need *absolute* commitments from those planning to stay and play on Sunday. I am really pleased to announce that I’ve found a nice hotel for y’all to stay in that has granted us a group rate that is below the average rate in this area. All the details, including the phone number to call to make hotel reservations, are now online at www.YouGoGolf.com/rsg-atlanta.htm, along with complete hole-by-hole descriptions of the two golf courses.
