I also dont feel the urge to harrass the folks at the meat counter at the grocery store. God made us humans carnivores. Simple as that. …Am i bad cause i love to hunt? Geeze!!! Tell my family that as they eat the venison that the Lord provided for our table. "your daddy is a bad man cause he didnt buy some cow meat from the grocery store"…

Off the subject a bit, but this post made me think that you may not necessarily have to be a carnivore to love to hunt. Not sure I know of any vegetarians that hunt, but I’m sure there are some. Vegetarians who choose not to eat meat for health reasons should do so with the knowledge that animals die to produce the vegetables. Songbird nests are plowed under, habitat lost, worms cut in half! Same deal with where your house is built. It all boils down to the fact that if you live on this Earth, you do so at the expense of other living things. There is no way around it. I have a buddy who LOVES to duck hunt. However, even though he is not a vegetarian, he rarely will eat ducks. (I like them rare, but not rarely.) His hunting buddies get the extra birds, nothing is wasted, so it’s no big deal. The point is that his desire to duck hunt isn’t diminished at all by his lack of desire to eat their flesh. Pass the duck and the broccoli, please. Tom Pink E.U.P.
