Question:
I’m a struggling player who is having problems with my grip and have actually had pain in my left hand along the bones going to my left pink and ring finger. I also have a bruise that seems to stay on my palm. It is about an inch long and is on the padded part at the base of my hand (lower right of my left hand) and follows the direction of the club in my grip. ANy idea what this is from?
Sounds to me like you’re just plain holding the clubs too tight. The bruise on your palm is probably from the fat end of your grips getting smashed your hand and the fact that your left pinkie and ring finger are hurting is probably even more evidence of that (assuming you’re playing right-handed). jeff — Jeff Chung http://u1.netgate.net/~kirby34 Kirby Puckett Tribute, San Jose Area Golf Courses, Movie Quotes, MIDI
