Any good? (RE:CONTROLER golf club)
A friend of mine has one and I tried about 5-6 hits with it. One can argue that this is not enough hits to give a proper evaluation but here goes anyway. It seemed to me I was getting about the same distance with this club (Controller) as I do with myTaylor Made LCG 3 iron (~200 yards). Maybe a better player than myself (handicap 15) could do better than this. But this is my own experience. The club definetly feels heavy in the club head. I tend to think this extra weight has to slow your swing down by a little bit. BTW, this club is made/distributed by NCG golf (located in Conneticut sonewhere) and they have a web site http://www.scientificgolf.com. I too would be interested in hearing anyone else’s comments about this club. I have watched their informercial also. It is my understanding that this infomercial has been around quite a few years and that the gentlemen’s iron record of 339 from the fairway has been recently eclipsed by someone using the same club andsetting the new record of 358 yards with the same club!
