Question:
Thanks to your feedback and some further research, I’ve narrowed my choices down to the following four courses (in no particular order): Starr Pass Golf Club at Vistoso Omni Tucson National Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs I can only play twice during our family trip to Tucson in early July. Which two would you choose? (Why?)
Never played at Tucson Nation, but can heartlily endorse Weiskopf’s Vistoso and The Raven at Sabino Springs. Vistoso has a tempting par four, even for us double digit handicappers and a very friendly and reponsive staff. They also hand out the best divot repair tools I’ve ever used. The Raven is worth it because of the general layout of the course, but particularly the 18th hole. What a vista you get from the tee. It is a grandiose downhill par five with water in front of the green. A truely majestic finishing hole. RW
Response:
I’ve played Starr Pass, and recommend it highly if you want a challenging desert golf experience. I have heard good things about Vistoso. Tucson Nat. looks kinda boring, IMO, from what I’ve seen of it on TV. — John – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Thanks to your feedback and some further research, I’ve narrowed my choices down to the following four courses (in no particular order): Starr Pass Golf Club at Vistoso Omni Tucson National Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs I can only play twice during our family trip to Tucson in early July.
