some questions from absolute beginner

Question:

You can sometimes find group lessons. It’s a good start if you can’t afford a Pro. As for clubs. I guess it really depends. If I were you I would borrow or rent a set and see how they work for you. You may prefer hitting fairway woods vs. long irons, etc… You will however need a putter regardless. Don’t skimp, buy what you feel comfortable with, you’ll be using a lot:) mark from muskoka

If your just starting out pick up an old set dont spend money on anything yet you might not like the clubs or this game and then your several hundred in the hole. Good luck. Not4wood The best advice I can give you (I’ve been playing over 40 years) is to find a pro and start taking lessons. He will help you select equipment. And work on your chipping and putting all the time. You will save a lot of strokes and be able to play a lot faster because of it. Good luck ! Ken I’m an absolute golf beginner. I’m trying to buy a golf club. One of my friend recommended Mizuno MX-15 as an iron set – steel, regular etc. Would you please recommend 1,3 and 5 woods for beginner, maybe other iron set? I’m looking for not so expensive one. ^^; And if you know any website that explain how to choose a golf club for beginner, please let me know. I’d like to understand the gold club in detail. Sorry for many questions. But a good lesson book will be needed for me. ^^; Thanks.
