Opinions on Synchron II custom iron heads

Question:

Has anyone ever heard of Synchron II custom iron heads?

Looks like hireko has them too(sorry, it didn’t pop up on an earlier search of their site): http://www.hireko.com/ Best Regards, John

Has anyone ever heard of Synchron II custom iron heads?  I’ve seen little mention of them in rec.sprot.golf.  My local custom shop has them and claim they are some of their best sellers.  I’ve hit with them and like them, but I can’t make a decision.  I’m concerned that they are rare(vs a Golfsmith head).

Golf Supply America lists the heads: http://www.golfsupply.com/index.htm Best Regards, John

I’ve never seen their iron heads, but I have their shallow-faced fairway woods. The quality of those seems to be up to the level of Golfsmith, but I don’t suppose 3 clubs would be a large enough sample to make a recommendation. — http://home.midsouth.rr.com/joecartpath RSG Roll Call: http://u1.netgate.net/~kirby34/rsg/reedj.htm – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Has anyone ever heard of Synchron II custom iron heads?  I’ve seen little mention of them in rec.sprot.golf.  My local custom shop has them and claim they are some of their best sellers.  I’ve hit with them and like them, but I can’t make a decision.  I’m concerned that they are rare(vs a Golfsmith head).  I The Golf Factory has them also. http://www.thegolffactory.com/catalog/synchronII_irons.html I’m also caught up in the Custom vs. brand decision.  I am very average, 6′ tall, average arm length, etc.  I don’t think I really need custom clubs. I’ve also hit the Top Flite Titanium and like them.  Any opinions or comments are welcome. Before you buy.

They arn’t anything particularly new and exciting… My local custom shop has them and claim they are some of their best sellers.

All that means is that they steer everyone they can onto them… I’ve hit with them and like them, but I can’t make a decision.

Nothing wrong with them…lately they’ve been gaining popularitywith the component suppliers…many now carry them… I’m concerned that they are rare (vs a Golfsmith head).

I don’t know why this is a concern, unless you tend to throw them into lakes??? (G)…They are a good oversize, Low center of gravity, club head. The low profile, extended face is sort of a mini-fad trying to grow into the next "gotta have it" club design… These component Heads run $8.00 or so each… ]]]Z[[[
