In search of an old golf book

Question:

There’s an old Bobby Jones book that I’d like to get my hands on, the title of which I can’t recall.  I’ve seen several Bobby Jones books in the bookstore, but none of the ones I’ve seen is the same.

Try the amazon link through my site (see magazine link below), it might be in the golf section there. — RSG ROLL CALL http://www.mobile.gulf.net/~rmartin/rsg.htm — Click on it today, the oldest free internet golf magazine on the web! What distinguishes this book is that in the back of it, it contains a hole-by-hole description of Augusta National Golf Club, with Jones’ comments on each hole’s design characteristics, and the thinking that went into each one.  He also offers his thoughts on how best to play each hole. Anybody have this book who would be willing either to part with it, or at least share its title? Randy

Randy… I was just recently in a small store that among other golf ephemera, had many, many books. The owner’s name is Floyd Johnson and he’s located in Sun City, AZ. His email address is: He is knowledgeable enough to recognize the book from your description and just might have it. Give him a try.
