– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Our men’s club had a rather poor showing at the weekly 9 hole skins game tonight due to game 2 of the Avs vs. Red Wings (Go Avs!!!), with 6 of us showing up (the weather was a bit questionable, too). Anyway, I shot a smooth +2 after a triple on the first hole (topped my first shot right into the hazard, hehe)<g. The most amazing thing is that myself and a guy in the other group both managed to eagle the par 5 ninth into at least a one club wind. Shoulda seen the look on the guys face when I told him that eagle was a push <g. Even better was that I thinned/skulled my 2nd shot 3 iron very poorly from 220 and it managed to roll about 8 feet away from the pin. The other guy made eagle from the long rough from a bare lie about 240 out. Even better than that was that I won a skin with a par on the shortest par 4 on the course <g. Crazy game. Brad Swanson
