Question:

I owned a set of Peerless PHD Tours a couple of years ago and really liked them.  They were long and accurate in length and dispersion with a good swing (still don’t know why I sold them except to make a profit).  If you are not a low handicap golfer I might suggest you only build the 5 iron to start to see if you can handle them as they are not very forgiving even with the cavity back.  As far as GSA, Inc., I have their catalog but have never had an occasion to buy anything from them.  I believe I purchased the PHD’s from National Golf. Good luck.

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I’m planning on assembling a new set of irons this winter.  I’ve already acquired my shafts, Rifle Lite 6.0, which should work well for me.  I’ve been looking for club heads with little or no offset.  My question is: does anyone have experience with the Peerless "PHD" Tour heads.  They have zero offset, are a cavity back stainless design, and incorporate a hosel weight (that I could do without, but oh well).  They’re sold by GSA Inc.  Any feedback on dealings with this company would be appreciated as well. Thanks for your help. Sam
