Easiest way to get a 400CC club?

Question:

I wouldn’t mind trying out an intergra…I haven’t used any other driver than my Ti1 for over 3 years.  But, my problem is that I’ve never made a club in my life before?  Is it much more expensive to buy a pre made 400cc club? What’s my best and easier option? Thanks, John

Response:

I was wondering that myself…according to diamondtour.com, they charge an additional $5 for assembling the clubs for you…According to my calculations, I’m looking at approx. $140 for an assembled Intergra…..hope this helps lloyd – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -I wouldn’t mind trying out an intergra…I haven’t used any other driver than my Ti1 for over 3 years.  But, my problem is that I’ve never made a club in my life before?  Is it much more expensive to buy a pre made 400cc club? I just went the diamondtour.com route. Mine ended up costing : 1. Integra 400cc  9 degree (assembled by them and spine aligned) 2. UST Proforce 65 Stiff shaft 3. Golf Pride Victory Grip Total $86.69 (prior to shipping) Not to hard on the pocketbook. Jon… I would note…  the spine alignment they offer may not be of the same level of accuracy as spine alignments suggested by some of our RSG club builders. For instance, UST claims their shafts are factory tested BEFORE the logo is applied to the shaft, so that the best alignment position would with the logo in the 12:00 or 6:00 orientation position.  Now having had 4 clubs built with UST shafts, none of them have tested the same.   So, if spine and FLO alignment are a priority, it would be worth knowing what method and theory they are using to measure and install a "spine aligned" shaft. Other than that, $86.69 is a very good price. cheers RJ … – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I just went the diamondtour.com route. Mine ended up costing : 1. I, too, just went to diamondtour.com and got an Integra 400cc 9* Ti head ($45.00), Rocket Sensicore shaft in Regular flex ($14.50), and Golf Pride Victory grip ($1.59). Add to that $5 for spine alignment and $5 for assembly. Comes to $71.09 before shipping which is definitely easy on the wallet.
