I’ll be in Raleigh NC in a few weeks, and will have an afternoon to go lose some golf balls.  I’d like to find a course in the general vicinity taht I could walk. Any recommendations? TIA

Never played it, but I heard that Wake Forest Golf CLub is a good one. Eric

On the way to Pinehurst a couple years back we played Tobacco Road as I remember it was about a hour away from Raleigh. Fun Golf course.

Golf course at Duke is very good, it actually is in Durham. Neuse, River Ridge are good courses on the east side of Raleigh.
