Try http://www.titleist.com where you will find quite a bit of information about ball technology. Just click on "Golf Balls" in the upper right-hand frame if you use the "Blue Tees" site or the "Golf Balls" image if you use the "White Tees" site.

Newsgroups: rec.sport.golf,pdx.golf,fj.rec.sports.golf I am interested in learning more about the construction of a contemporary golf ball; specifically about the materials used to form the core and the cover. Any help on locating relevant websites/publications etc., would be much appreciated. Umair
Try the usga’s site. They’ve added new stuff to thier site, including a course construction section that includes info on materials, drainage, etc. It appears some of the material is sent in by course designers and renovators, so it’s not all just theory. Take a look as www.usga.org NNTP-Posting-Host: 129.160.41.158 Organization: Radian International LLC
