My husband Dennis has been having back problems lately, ever since he injured his back at work. This past weekend we were shopping at Costco when we saw this huge back massager. It had two half spheres the size of golf balls and a very long cord and it vibrated like crazy. Dennis fell in love with it immediately and we had to buy it. When we got home he lay on the couch with his shirt off and I used the massager on his back. Now this thing vibrates so strongly I can’t even handle having it touch my arm or leg. Well as soon as I started it up, Vino came over to investigate. He sniffed it, then rubbed up against it, then sat on Dennis’ back and watched. Just for fun, I decided to see what he would do if I touched him with the massager. To my complete surprise, he *loved* it! He lay down, purred, and rolled over. I massaged his stomach and he reached out with his cute little paws and grabbed the massager and held it against his stomach! Dennis and I were roaring with laughter…he just couldn’t get enough of it. Ever since, I have massaged Dennis every night and every time Vino comes over to get his massage too. Only one rule has been established though: Humans get 15 minutes, cats only get 5! What a strange cat though. I wonder if this is normal? How funny! Every cat I have ever had has totally freaked out over the sound of those things much less being touched by one. Hazel Az

Yes, he is a very strange cat. He is only the second cat I’ve ever had, the first one was outdoor only when I was a kid, so I didn’t get to bond with him that much. But Vino seems to have a few strange quirks that do seem uncommon in cats from what I’ve gathered by reading this NG. He also lets himself be vacuumed, he has a foot fetish where his penis comes out when he licks his back paws, he loves belly rubs and getting turned upside down, he begs for shoulder rides and to play fetch with his balloon, he does not do elevator butt, and he lets me throw him in the air and catch him! And these are just a few…he is only a year and a half old, so I’m sure he has many more surprises in store for me. I can’t wait
