Best golf idea ever?

Question:

If it’s a hazzard for us, it can be a hazzard for all the friggin’ ducks, frogs, snakes, insects, etc in there too.

Ah yes…the ducks of hazzard.  I’ve heard of them.

Response:

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I’ve just been reading the Wilson ads about their true rolling golf ball. They describe a test where you put epsom salts and rinse-aid into a glass of water so the balls can float. Why don’t we just dump a load of this stuff into all the water hazards? With the aid of a few pumps or wave machines, the balls could then be directed to the shore for collection. Should I patent this? Yes!  Best golf idea ever! I can’t see a downside — epsom salts couldn’t possibly do anything to harm the vegetation or wildlife in those water hazards. In Atlanta last weekend, we kept running across signs near creeks and marshy areas that read, "Warning.  Snake habitat." Just out of curiosity (Me?  Hit balls into watery hazards?  Never!) I went into one (helping a friend find a ball???) and on the way out I saw the back of one of those signs.  It read, "Warning to snakes. Golfer habitat."

Doesn’t the fact that several posters responded with comments that indicated they felt the original poster was SERIOUS cause you great concern?  To say nothing about  spelling prowess… — Doug Main "It’s never too late to have a happy childhood."

Never thought for a moment the original was serious. As for the spelling, been watching an El Hazzard the Mysterious World marathon. Joe Perez

…about Epsom salts.

This is a great idea!   In addition to getting all those balls to come to shore, you could soak your sore, tired feet in the ponds at the end of your round. — Doug Main "It’s never too late to have a happy childhood."

Don’t you know anything? Epsom, of course, is a bleak wasteland in the depths of Surrey. British political prisoners are sent there to work down the salt mines.

The plural is "epsi"

Response:

Selling lost golf balls make extra money for the courses. I don’t think they would like it becuase they couldn’t get all the balls.
