My ‘home’ course where I regularly play is 23 miles from my house. I play 130 rounds per year. How bout y’all?
My ‘home course’ is a muni about 2 miles down the road. I’d love to play as often as my kid who is on the hs team and plays there almost daily. A nicer public course is about 8 miles and a toll bridge away as is a cheap ($6 for all you can play) juco 9 hole course. — Bob Andrews

…But how far would you drive to play FREE golf, Sparky?
Response:
It’s 47 miles from my front door in northwest Austin, Texas to the parking lot at ColoVista Country Club in Bastrop,
I wonder if the folks who bought my house in Bastrop in 1992 would be willing to sell it back for the same price.
