Golf in Jamaica

Question:

Going to Jamaica some time this summer. Any thoughts on playing near Ocho Rios. Found Two courses …Sandals Golf & Country Club. Breezes Golf & Beach Resort. Anyone ever play these courses?

Response:

No. But did play Tryall host of 2 J Walker tournaments I think Couples won one of them. A bit pricey but good course. Its west of MoBay.

Response:

They are both the same course.  Sandals owns both facilities the course is the same, Sandals Golf and Country Club.  If you are staying at either of the resorts the greens fees are free and all you pay is $15 US caddy fee and whatever you decide to tip the caddy after the round.  I usually gave the caddy an another $15 US. I believe the cost to play if you are not staying at a Sandals resort is around $100 US. The course us very open and the greens are extremely fast.  You go to the Sandals web site for more info on the course, including pictures. http://www1.sandals.com/main/ochorios/or-home.cfm# George
