Question:
I’m in! Reuel (8 handicap)
Response:
[Reuel] :I’m in! : :Reuel (8 handicap) Virginia’s not that far from here.. about 8-10 hours, depending on which part of Virginia. I’d be likely to attend, unless my job kept me from doing so (field time, school, etc.). As for handicap.. heh, I haven’t played in a year. I didn’t see any courses in Kuwait or Iraq.

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I mentioned the possibility in a previous post, but am curious how much interest there would be in an RSG-VA event. I am situated in Winchester, and would be interested in hosting something nearby. I’d be looking at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, Bowling Green Country Club, Carper’s Valley Golf Club, or Rock Harbor Golf Club (brand new course) as the course. Please let me know if you would be interested in a small get together (like perhaps in the next few weeks or month) or a golf trip extravaganza ala RSG-Atlanta/Mississippi/Wisconsin. An RSG "Major" type event I would look to put together in April or May. Chris Chris, Small or large, Gayle and I are in.
Is it near any good whitewater? me
Response:
I could make it. ( 8 handicap) Also in answer to Sparky, The Great Falls of the Potomac just north of DC offers great whitewater and two other good rivers are within 100 miles. Reuel

I may be interested, depending on the dates and whether my wife would let me escape.
I’m in Newport News, but a weekend out in the mountains or the valley would be great. I would love to be able to make it, and just might, but it woulkd probably be a longshot for me. In any event, keep in touch, as I have RSG MS tentatively scheduled for mid May, but nothing is carved in stone, so as to avoid a conflict. I’m interested…and my course could "host". There are also several great local courses we could try. I’m in Charlottesville…somewhat in the middle of all of you that have posted.
Response:
I’m interested if you don’t mind a high-handicapper hacking along (good swing day + easy course and I usually shoot mid 90’s.). Also, my summer entertainment budget is just about shot, so the closer to Richmond the greater the chance I’ll be able to make it. — Neal B. That sounds like fun. I’m in Sterling, not far from Leesburg. VA National is a great course as well. 22 handicap here and getting better. Let me know.
