Any Good & Reasonable Resort Courses In Northeast?

Question:

Hello, Does anyone know of a golf resort in the Northest (preferably near the coast) that meets the following criteria:     At least one good course, preferably two or more     Reasonable prices for hotel and golf     No more than 60 minutes from an airport I am looking for a facility where I can give a four day golf school–a nice place that people will enjoy. I have a resort in San Diego that I have been using, but I need one for the east coast. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. — Sincerely, Casey Eberting Teaching Professional Indian Springs Country Club web site: http://home.att.net/~golfinstructor/

Response:

One suggestion is Great Gorge in northwest NJ.  They have 4 courses, although one is a short course.  The Black Bear course has rating/slope of 72.2/130 and the Crystal Springs course is 74.1/137.  The Ballyowen course is new this year.  I have never played there but have heard they are nice courses.  See www.greatgorgegolf.com — Bob Smith – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hello, Does anyone know of a golf resort in the Northest (preferably near the coast) that meets the following criteria:    At least one good course, preferably two or more    Reasonable prices for hotel and golf    No more than 60 minutes from an airport I am looking for a facility where I can give a four day golf school–a nice place that people will enjoy.
