I have the opportunity to purchase a set of either Tommy Armour 845’s or Callaway S2H2 irons for about the same price. Which set do you think would be better for a recreation golfer? Thanks. -Larry

I use the 845’s and love them. As mattter of fact they have remained so popular that Armour has brought them back into production. Toby

I’ve never hit the Callaways, but I have 845s and love them. They are a very popular club with golfers of all levels, and for good reason. Brian Kennedy

I have a 845 Driver and was wondering if its head is supposed to be turned in? Are there offset heads available on the 845’s? Or could it be that this is a broken club?

which ever ones help your game the most. Make sure they do fit. Commercial clubs are the most generic clubs on the market. If they both play the same for you, then choose the set that appeals to you the most. A perfect set of clubs, made to correct every flaw you may have wouldn’t play well if you didn’t like the looks of them.
