Too expensive here in Germany.  (Average $18,000 initiation–$4,000 to $12,000 per year to play).  I play when I can 3) what is your handicap?

Hurts to think about it  :(  When I was living in golf civilization (Ft Lauderdale, FL), I was playing around 120 rounds per year.  When I was in the millitary and living in Germany, I was playing around 150 rounds per year. 5) what would you consider the best course you have ever played?

Hard question!  Bethpage Black (Long Island, NY), Emerald Dunes (Palm Beach, Fl), there was also an amazing course in Plombsheim, France (s of Strassbourg), also played a few really nice courses in Myrtle Beach. 6) If you could play any one course every day the rest of your life which course would you choose?

Without having played it, Augusta National would be among my type choices.  If we only respond with courses that we have played, that golfcourse in France is really very niec 7) what is your favorite club in your bag?

Steelhead 11* driver, cheapo Spalding 3 & 5W, Gallery 7w, Spalding 3i-SW (starter set, usually leave out the 3i in favour of the 7W), John Letters 62* LW, no-name brass-headed putter that I love the feel of better than any of the big name brands I tried (kind of a cutaway mallet).  All my clubs have steel shafts. 2) Do you belong to a club?

Not yet.  Am on the waiting list at my local club, where I have an unlimited-play season-ticket. 3) what is your handicap?

No official handicap.  Reckon I play to around a 14, though I’m not getting as much practice as I’d like at the moment (miserable weather). 4) how many rounds a year do you play?

Try to play at least twice a week, probably a bit less on average though – say, 90 rounds a year. 5) what would you consider the best course you have ever played?

Have only played a few.  I love my home course, though I’d love to play more courses for the experience.  The Golf de l’Odet course I played in Brittany last year was a nice course. 6) If you could play any one course every day the rest of your life which course would you choose?

Henry-Griffitts 1,3 and 5 woods, True Temper shafts. My *big* expense. Second-hand Dynacraft Copperhead irons, refitted to me with Aldila shafts and jumbo grips, 2" overlength. A Bronze Age Lob Wedge that I had made up because it looked just like the Copperheads, only gold. Boring little knock-off insert putter with a really (I mean *really*) thick Golfsmith grip. 2) Do you belong to a club?
